Pumpro Water Solutions ยท Gaborone

Water. Pumping.
Fluid management.

Specialist water and pumping systems for commercial, industrial, agricultural and infrastructure customers. We design, supply, install, commission and maintain them.

What Pumpro does

One partner for your water, from the first question to long-term service

Pumpro is more than a pump shop. We take responsibility for the customer problem, the technical solution, the installation and the years that follow, so you deal with one team instead of several suppliers.

Follow the water Water travels from its source through a pump, controls and pipework into storage, then on to a building and an irrigated field. 1 Source 2 Pump 3 Controls 4 Pipework and storage 5 Point of use
01

Source

Water starts at a borehole, dam, river, municipal connection or tank. We begin by understanding the source: how much it can give, how that changes through the year and what the pump has to be protected from.

02

Pump

The pump is matched to the flow and pressure your site really needs, not to a catalogue size. A pump that is too big wastes energy and wears out early. One that is too small never keeps up.

03

Controls

Starters, drives and sensors protect the pump and hold pressure or level steady. Good controls also tend to be where running costs come down.

04

Pipework and storage

Pipe size, valves and storage decide how well water reaches where it is needed, and how the system copes when everyone turns on a tap at once.

05

Point of use

A building, a process plant, a trough or a pivot. The system is judged here: does the water arrive with the right pressure at the right time?

Efficiency

Often the same water for less energy

Pumps are among the biggest electricity users on many sites. Slowing a pump to match demand can cut its power draw much more than it cuts the flow. Move the slider to see the textbook relationship.

Whether that is worth doing on your site depends on the system, which is why we assess first.

How we approach efficiency
What slowing a pump down does
Flow100 %
Pressure (head)100 %
Power drawn100 %

Textbook affinity laws for a centrifugal pump: flow changes with speed, head with the square of speed and power with the cube. Real systems differ with static head and pump curve, which is why we assess before we recommend.

How we work

    Assess and design

Technical sizing, specification and a site assessment where needed.

  3. 03

    Quote and secure

    Scope, price, terms and approval.

  4. 04

    Source and deliver

Procurement, installation and commissioning as agreed.

  5. 05

    Maintain

Warranty support, planned maintenance and spares.

  6. 06

    Optimise and expand

Upgrades, efficiency improvements and planned replacement.

Ways to start

Three ways to work with Pumpro

Tell us which sounds most like you. You do not need to know the technical answer to get started.

You know what you need

You have a specification, a replacement part or a pump in mind. We quote, supply and deliver.

Request a quote

You have a water problem

Low pressure, a dry borehole, a pump that keeps failing. We assess, design, quote, supply and install.

Book an assessment

You need ongoing reliability

You want your water system looked after. Planned maintenance, spares and upgrades.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What does Pumpro do?

Pumpro designs, supplies, installs, commissions and maintains water, pumping and fluid-management systems for commercial, industrial, agricultural and infrastructure customers.

Do I need to know which pump I need?

No. If you know the equipment, we will quote it. If you only know the problem, such as low pressure or a borehole that runs dry, we start with an assessment and work out the right solution with you.

Is Pumpro only a pump seller?

No. Equipment is one part of the business. We also design and install complete systems and look after them afterwards with maintenance, spares and upgrades.

How do I get a quote?

Use the Request a quote form or call us. Flow, pressure, water source and tank or equipment details help, but a description of the problem is enough to start.
